As I’ve photographed over the years across a variety of events using various equipment, I don’t have a “set style.” Check out my portfolio to see for yourself how versatile I am. I want to work with you to figure out what style YOU want (or “chef’s choice” if you’re unsure)!
I want to work with you to understand what you want. This means that you tell me the shots you want, the mood / style you’re looking for, and what your budget is. It is my job to figure out how to meet your needs and work within your limits.
Since I maintain and own everything from my equipment, to the website, to even the storage that your photos will reside, I’m able to keep costs low and create value. Furthermore as a new professional photographer, I’m more interested in getting my business started rather than optimizing pricing.
Communication is key to making sure that you get exactly what you want.
Before the event, I prefer to have a dedicated conversation before the shoot to understand your expectations. This could be a quick 5 minute call or a 30 minute Zoom screen share.
After the session, I insist on a screen share Zoom meeting screen-share and review / select the photos you want and the post-processing style (i.e. photo filter) you would like to use.
I charge based on a fixed plus per-photo fee.
The fixed fee is just to cover my own fixed costs of time, a USB drive (for holding your captured photos), and commute / setup.
I maintain a per-photo fee to encourage myself to take the best shots. This way you only pay for the photos that you want and not just a pre-paid “must-choose” number of photos.
If I don’t do a good job, I don’t deserve the pay… It’s just that simple!
You get print rights of the photos you selected. I put everything on a USB drive. If you would like to have the RAW camera files to do post-processing on your own — no problem!
My goal is to make you happy. Period.

In short, with a non-phonetic name like “Qing,” I want to avoid any awkward mispronunciations and have a moniker that still has a personal meaning to me.
